Bill Mills was the Director of Photography for THE MUMMY WHO WOULD BE KING. An award winning one hour NOVA/PBS documentary produced and directed by Gemini Productions' Gail Willumsen and co producer Jill Shienfeld. The HD program was shot in Canada, the United States, Germany, and Egypt. Principle photography utilized a 720p workflow with the Panasonic Varicam.
This 30 minute program produced for TWSG and the U.S. Marine Corp was awarded a 2009 Cine Golden Eagle, Platinum Best of Show Aurora Award, and a Telly Award. The greatest reward was working with some of America's best. Using the Panasonic HPX3000 1080p P-2 cameras, the program was finished on a FCP system and released digitally and on Blueray DVD.
Winner of the Green the Screen contest at the Gasparilla Int'l Film Festival. Aleshea Harris, teams up with Roundhouse Creative and Bill Mills of Florida Film & Video to perform her latest work God of the Ground. Through spoken word and song Harris reflects on the current state of our environment and asks the question - Who is God of the Ground?
